CHAMAEROPS humilis

A slow-growing plant belonging to the palm family. Its pennate leaves are shiny green, up to 80 cm long and made up of 10-to-15 linear leaflets growing in dense tufts. In early summer it develops dense panicles of small, yellow flowers, measuring up to 30-40 cm.
