ERIOBOTRYA japonica

An evergreen, vigorous, spreading shrub with large, dark-green leaves with marked venation and up to 30 cm in length. From autumn to winter it bears fragrant, white flowers followed in spring, by an edible, roundish, yellowish-orange fruit.
