FAGUS sylvatica

Big deciduous spreading tree with ovate-elliptical green-to-dark-green leaves with undulated edges, measuring up to 10 cm in length, turn brownish-orange-yellow in autumn. It has smooth, silvery-coloured bark and it adapts well to depleted soil.
