FRAXINUS excelsior
European ash
A vigorous, spreading, deciduous tree with pennate, dark-green leaves up to 30 cm long, made up of between 10 and 15 leaflets which are tinged with golden-yellow in autumn. Its bark ranges in colour from olivegreen to light-grey.
