Beautiful specie of crabapple that blooms in May with crimson-colored buds that open to purple-red flowers. the dark red bark resembles that of a cherry. Orange leaves and shiny red, cone-shaped fruit in autumn. Is disease-resistant and grows into a low, dense, rounded tree.
