PUNICA granatum

Shrub or thorny, roundish-shaped tree. Its vivid green leaves are oblong and bright with reddish-brown venations. In summer it produces funnelshaped flowers with 5 reddish-orange petals, followed by edible, globular, yellowish orange-brown fruit, measuring up to 12 cm in width.
