TILIA tomentosa
Silver linden
A tree which may be largely columnar or conical in shape with roundedto-largely-ovate, dark-green leaves which are silvery-white on their undersides. In summer it produces white flowers, gathered together in bounches of 10 to 15 each and very fragrant.
