BETULA nigra

Broadly pyramidal to rounded form. Medium to dark green foliage that turns into yellow to gold in fall. Good in wet soils shows also a certain drought resistance. Beautiful bark showing gray-brown to yellow-pinkish colors and exfoliating in curly papery sheets.
