METASEQUOIA glyptostroboides

A conifer with green, linear, deciduous, fast-growing foliage. Its leaves are soft, greenish-bronze in autumn. It has brownish-orange bark and it produces female, ovoidal cones and male, round, pendulous, brown coloured cones.
