Description

Large tree from north america. As it becomes old the crown of the tree tend to be a round, compact and well branched. The leaves are dark-green and very resistant to direct sunlight. In the autumn leaves turn into beautiful red-orange to dark pink colors. The grey bark tends to split nicely when the tree get older. In the north of the America, the sap is used to obtain the maple syrup used as sweetener.
