CARPINUS betulus ‘Fastigiata’

A cone-shaped, deciduous tree whose alternate ovoid and elliptic leaves, 7 to 10 cm long, are light green in summer and turn a luminous yellow in autumn. Because of its particular pyramid-like shape this very rustic variety is strongly recommended for lining streets and boulevards.
