Description

A large, deciduous shrub which, though initially upright, tends to sag with age. Its branches are decidedly crooked, rigid and fragile, while its slightly-rounded, green leaves turn golden-yellow in autumn. It produces magnificent, sagging, yellow catkins at the beginning of spring.
