SCIADOPITYS verticillata

Largely cone-shaped tree with a reddish-brown bark that peels off in strips with age. The leaves are dark-green with olive-green undersides and are linear, shiny and up to 10 to 15 cm in length. This spectacular and unique conifer is not partial to exposure to full sunlight in hot areas.
