SEQUOIA sempervirens

Description

A very large, mostly cone-shaped tree (the largest in the world) with curved, horizontal branches and a reddish-brown, thick, soft bark which becomes fissured with age. The dark-green leaves are rigid, linear and pointed, up to 2 cm in length.
