ZELKOVA serrata

Deciduous tree with large habitat and grey bark, which esfoliates with age. Leaves are thin, ovated, narrow, dented, long ca 12 cm, of a dark green colour which turns to yellow, orange or red in autumn. Very resistant to pollution. It fits well in urban area. Nice ornamental plant. If planted in alignments, it is to foresee that, by growing, the crown will become wider.
