ARAUCARIA araucana

Description

A cone-shaped conifer that becomes roundish with age. Its shiny, darkgreen leaves are rigid, triangular in shape and sharply pointed and run spirally along the entire length of the branch. It prefers sunlight and light, moderately limy soils. It holds up well in windy places and urban climates.
