CITRUS x aurantium
Description
A thorny, evergreen, roundish-to-spreading, tree or large shrub whose shiny, oblong leaves ranging in colour from green to light green, reach lengths of up to 10 cm. Starting at the end of spring, it produces plain, pure-white, fragrant flowers which are followed by roundish, thick-skinned, bitter-tasting, orange-coloured fruit with diameters of between 7 and 10 cm.
