Description

A vigorous, spreading, deciduous shrub with ovate, pointed, dark-green, dentate leaves. From the end of summer to the beginning of autumn it bears large, cone-shaped panicles from 15 to 20 cm in length on long stems that tend to curve downward under the weight of the flowers.
